Note from Dawn Stabb head of education and learning regarding scam phone calls

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have received the following message from Dawn Stabb Head of Education and Learning, Deputy Chief Officer Childrens Services.

A primary school has reported an incident where a parent has received a scam phone call from an unrecognised number requesting payment for an Anti-Bullying book. Devon IT Services will be looking into this and in the meantime we ask parents and carers to stay alert and to ensure you remain vigilant to any unusual calls to you that appear to be made on behalf of your children’s school requesting a payment.
