Letter from Headteacher
Dear Parents and Carers
At the end of this first, very difficult week, a week that is unprecedented in terms of schools and educational provision, I wanted to update you as to what is going on behind the scenes.
At a time when it is very important to stay at home and stay safe, please do not be surprised if you are contacted by a class teacher, myself or other senior members of staff. We just want to keep in touch and provide as much advice and support as necessary. We are still working on behalf of the children.
As Headteacher I am in touch with the Barnstaple Learning Community, where headteachers share advice and potential operational developments for the near future. I am also going through the daily updates from the Department if Education and the Local Authority.
Stuart is liaising with social care staff and Ness is picking up as much information as possible from Early Help and other support services. Any and every piece of information will be shared.
We don’t know what the future holds, but please keep an eye on the website and Facebook pages. This will be the best form of global communication for the school.
Please follow the advice, stay in doors and stay safe.
