Eddie Farwell : Foundation Governor

Eddie, with his late wife Jill founded Children’s Hospice South West and is currently its CEO. As well as Little Bridge House in North Devon, he manages two other very special places for children with life-limiting conditions covering the South West Peninsula: Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour near St Austell, Cornwall.

Eddie’s two eldest children Katie and Tom attended Pathfield School, Katie died aged eleven in 1991 and Tom died in 1998 aged 15. Pathfield School provided them with the most wonderful enriching environment. Eddie served a previous term as a Governor in the 1990’s.

Prior to founding Children’s Hospice South West Eddie was for a long time District Manager for Devon Social Services in North Devon.

Eddie experience is wide-ranging and he hopes to support the school in whatever way would be most useful.
