03/2021 Forest School

We have been having wonderful time during our ‘Forest School’ sessions this month. We made wishing wands to enhance wellbeing and positive thinking, trying to forget about worries and focus on positive. During another session we used tools to cut with and we did some whittling, scraping bark off developing skills, concentration and building trust and relationship. We also loved splashing in puddles in our waterproof suits and wellies, experiencing being outdoors and having fun. Younger children were learning how to listen to instructions through play whilst exploring outdoors and ‘child led play’.
