What Skills and Experience we are looking for
- Highly organised and able to problem solve.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of different software systems within a school.
- Remain calm and professional in pressure situations.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of special educational needs and disabilities, demonstrating the ability to adapt and differentiate teaching approaches to cater for a diverse range of needs.
- Experience of working with children, particularly within a special educational setting would be desirable.
- Good basic Maths and Literacy skills, with the ability to support learning in these areas through practical and engaging methods.
- A professional approach, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience when supporting students.
- Creativity in developing and delivering learning activities that make learning enjoyable, accessible, and meaningful for all students.
- A commitment to equal opportunities, ensuring that all students feel included and valued in their learning environment.
- A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults, with a clear understanding of policies and procedures related to safeguarding.
